(May 12, 2026)
The students of Class 2D conducted a lively and meaningful special assembly to celebrate Food Safety Day, spreading awareness about the importance of healthy eating habits. The assembly began with a warm welcome, followed by a prayer and positive affirmations that set an energetic and thoughtful tone for the day.
Through an engaging skit, the students highlighted the consequences of consuming excessive junk food. The performance was brought to life with cheerful music, dance, and vibrant enactments by students portraying junk food and healthy food items.
The entry of healthy food characters like fruits, vegetables, and milk reinforced the importance of a balanced diet. The role of the doctor further emphasized essential habits such as washing hands, cleaning food items, and consuming fresh and nutritious meals. The students confidently presented slogans promoting food safety, encouraging everyone to adopt healthier lifestyles.
The respected Headmistress, Ms. Harmeet Kaur, appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them to adopt healthy eating habits and make wise food choices in their daily lives.
The assembly concluded with an energetic dance performance, leaving the audience inspired and informed. Overall, the presentation was both educational and entertaining, successfully instilling awareness about food safety and the significance of making healthy food choices in everyday life.
