ASSEMBLY ON BUILDING A STRONGER INDIA

(August 13, 2026)

On August 13, 2026, the students of Class V-E conducted a vibrant class assembly themed "The LEGO Rule – Building a Stronger India, One Value at a Time," commemorating India's 79th Independence Day. The proceedings commenced with an evocative voice-over and opening quote, followed by a serene morning prayer and patriotic songs delivered by the choir. Students then presented Thoughts of the Day in English, Hindi, and Sanskrit, reinforcing unity and moral strength, followed by a comprehensive news bulletin covering national, international, sports, weather, and Goenkan campus updates.

The centerpiece of the assembly was a captivating theatrical skit featuring historical figures including Rani Lakshmibai, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Through powerful dialogues and dramatic reenactments, the performers illustrated that just as individual LEGO bricks form a grand structure, every citizen's values—honesty, kindness, discipline, and responsibility—contribute to building a resilient nation. The narrative seamlessly bridged historical sacrifices with contemporary civic duty, urging students to become conscientious citizens of tomorrow.

The assembly concluded with a high-energy patriotic dance performance and a symbolic Indian Flag tribute, where student representatives pledged to uphold national unity and ethical values. The event drew to a close with a concluding reflective synthesis and an inspiring address by respected Headmistress, Ms. Shalini, who commended the students of Class V-E for their impactful presentation, creative execution, and message of collective responsibility.
