ASSEMBLY-FOCUS ON POSSIBILITIES AND NOT PROBLEMS

Inspiring their fellow Goenkans of classes IX to XII, to focus on endless possibilities rather than mulling over the obstacles, the talented Goenkans of class XE, presented a well-crafted assembly on 18th October 2023 on the topic “Focus on Possibilities and Not Problems”. The assembly commenced with a formal welcome and an overview of the topic. A soulful prayer, igniting the passion for focusing on possibilities with confidence, was followed by the school song, Thought of the Day and the news.

The aim of this assembly was to drive home the message that passing by the brilliant opportunities is futile while we waste time in dealing with inconsequential problems in our life, which may not necessarily be productive. Further underlining this idea of the importance of focus in our life, was a self-composed poem by the students which successfully conveyed a similar message. The students presented a ‘nukkad natak’ wherein they further stressed upon similar ideas and encouraged the audience to go beyond the challenges and be part of a solution rather than the problem. They also highlighted the varied social initiatives to be taken with a focus on the betterment of the environment.

The assembly culminated with the address by the Principal, who congratulated the students for their performance and reiterated the power of focus in life and the value of setting goals. The assembly was brought to an end by the rendition of the national anthem.
