ASSEMBLY-CHALLENGES TURNING INTO OPPORTUNITIES

The students of Class VI D and VI G of G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram conducted a powerful and motivating assembly on “Challenges Turning Into Opportunities.” The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by thoughtful messages in English, Hindi, French, and Sanskrit, each emphasising the importance of courage, optimism, and learning from hardships. The News of the Day segment kept everyone updated with important national, international, sports, weather, and school developments.

A captivating skit based on Akbar and Birbal formed the heart of the assembly, highlighting how true wisdom turns difficulties into meaningful lessons. This was followed by an impactful dramatization of the Dandi March and the Swadeshi Movement, showcasing how India’s freedom fighters transformed challenges into unity and strength.

The assembly also featured a motivational poem encouraging students to rise above obstacles with determination, along with a vibrant dance performance on “Lakshya ko paana hai,” adding energy to the morning.

Ms. Shalini Tandon, the Headmistress, addressed the gathering with inspiring words. She expressed her happiness and appreciated the performers for presenting a crisp, well-coordinated, and effective assembly within the given time frame. The programme concluded with the school anthem, leaving everyone motivated to embrace the day with positivity and courage.
