ASSEMBLY - BEING RESPONSIBLE
(DECEMBER 17, 2021)
“You cannot
escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today”
The
students of Class VI F and VI G came together to present their class assembly
on December 17, 2021 on the topic ‘Being Responsible’. The assembly commenced
with a soulful song and shloka recitals. This was followed by thought of the
day and news highlights from round the world.
The assembly depicted that we can show our responsibility in many
different forms by displaying kindness towards others, by being environmentally
friendly, by respecting elders, by taking care of our school and
family, by being sensitive to other’s feelings and showing compassion
towards the less fortunate. A beautiful skit was presented by the students
where all these aspects of responsibility were put forward. The melodious rendition of the Song – ‘Responsible’
with coordinated actions impressed one and all.
In recent months there
have been many tragedies in our country and around the world due to the corona
virus pandemic, so the children presented an instrumental video to show
compassion to those affected and help them cope. Our guest speaker Mr B.D. Bansal,
gave a motivational and inspirational talk on how responsibility can be
developed in children and why it plays a predominant role in growing up.
Our Headmistress, Ms. Shalini
Tandon was glad to see the students performing. She encouraged them to show
love, respect and kindness towards all and be responsible in their work and
action. She motivated them that spreading happiness around is the greatest act
of kindness.
