ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION 2026

“Bharat is not just a country; it is our identity, heritage and pride.”

GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, celebrated its Foundational Years Annual Day on 15 August 2026 with the patriotic presentation “भारत – My Country, My Pride.” The celebration began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, graced by senior members of the management and the school Principal Mrs. Anuradha Handa, followed by the National Anthem.

Young learners from Pre-Nursery to Class 2 participated with immense enthusiasm, bringing the theme alive through their captivating performances. The patriotic choir “Abhivandan” set the tone for a spectacular cultural presentation tracing India’s glorious history, freedom struggle and diverse traditions. Vibrant folk and classical performances culminated in a powerful finale celebrating unity, heritage and national pride, while reminding everyone of the responsibility to protect the freedom we cherish.

A theme-based art exhibition by the Foundational Years students showcased their imagination and creativity regarding India’s cultural heritage.

Principal Mrs. Anuradha Handa shared the school’s vision, journey and achievements. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Harmeet Kaur, Headmistress, Foundational Years, expressing gratitude to all who made the occasion memorable.
