AN INTERACTIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE WITH ELLIE

GD Goenka Public School had hosted a distinguished educational session centred around Ellie – The Animatronic Elephant, organised in collaboration with PETA India and Go Sharpener on April 16, 2026.
The session was designed for students of Classes Nursery to VIII, it was thoughtfully curated to cultivate awareness around elephant welfare, wildlife conservation, and the foundational values of compassion and respect towards all living beings. Resource person Ms. Minal Shah guided young minds through the ecological significance of elephants and the pressing challenges they face due to advancing human activities.
The centerpiece of the session was an immersive storytelling experience featuring Ellie, whose remarkable animatronic presence brought the narrative to life with extraordinary vividness. Students participated with commendable enthusiasm, emerging with a heightened understanding of wildlife preservation and environmental stewardship. The session concluded with gifting activity book by PETA — a fitting reinforcement of the day’s core themes.
This initiative stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education- one that nurtures empathy, environmental consciousness, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the natural world.
