21ST CENTURY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Ms. Harmeet Kaur, Headmistress of the Junior Wing, conducted a comprehensive workshop on 21st Century Skills & Competencies for the teachers of the Junior Wing. The workshop aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and tools necessary to prepare students for the challenges of the modern world.

Key areas covered:

• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Techniques to foster analytical skills in young learners.
• Creativity and Innovation: Methods to encourage original thinking and creative expression.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strategies to enhance interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Digital Literacy: Integration of technology in classroom teaching and learning.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Preparing students for a rapidly changing world.
• Leadership and Responsibility: Nurturing future leaders and responsible citizens.

The workshop included interactive sessions, group activities, and practical demonstrations. Teachers were provided with resources and action plans to implement these skills in their daily teaching practices. The workshop was well-received by teachers expressing enthusiasm about applying the new methodologies in their classrooms.
