WORKSHOP REPORT: FRAMING RUBRICS FOR FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS

On May 28, 2024, Headmistress Ms. Harmeet Kaur led a workshop on "Framing Rubrics for Formative Assessments." for the teachers of foundational years. The session provided teachers with essential insights into creating effective rubrics, selecting appropriate assessment parameters, and aligning activities with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Through practical exercises and interactive discussions, teachers learned to design rubrics that support competency-based learning and holistic development. The workshop emphasized transparency in assessment and fostered a collaborative environment, enhancing teachers' skills and understanding of formative assessments aligned with National Curriculum Framework.

Overall, it was a valuable experience that will positively impact classroom practices. Teachers expressed enthusiasm for implementing these strategies in their teaching.
