WORKSHOP - GO SHARPENER

G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, hosted a workshop for young Goenkans of Grade 3 in collaboration with the ‘Go Sharpener’ team - a school student platform focused on sustainability. The event was initiated by Ms. Shivani Negi, who reinforced the benefits of the Go Sharpener platform for the student community.

The induction commenced with an interactive presentation delivered by the speaker through engaging visual and age-appropriate explanation. The speaker emphasized on the importance of preserving resources and ensured active participation and understanding. She encouraged students to post their physical activities, sports activities, ways to curb pollution, initiatives taken towards achieving SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals) and more. Students were informed how the platform would maintain a digital sustainability scorecard for their sustainable actions and reward them in the form of certificates, vouchers and internship opportunities.

By integrating sustainability principles into education, Grade 3 students were empowered to be stewards of the environment, contributing to a brighter, greener future.
