WORKSHOP - EXPRESSION; THE POWER OF COMMUNICATION

With a dedicated focus on enhancing the abilities of the teaching faculty, GDGPS consistently hosts workshops facilitated by dynamic expert in the field of education to further empower its teachers all across G D Goenka Group of Schools in different cities.

On Friday, April 05, 2024, Ms. Yasmin Khan, shared her expertise through a virtual session on “Expression- The Power of Communication”.

The workshop encompassed a diverse range of topics aimed at skill enhancement, including techniques for delivering constructive feedback, conducting effective show-and-tell sessions, vocabulary building exercises, role-playing scenarios, mastering the art of storytelling, and strategies for improving communication proficiency. All the teachers of Junior Wing actively participated in the enlightening session, during which they were encouraged to engage in an activity involving generating a story using ten words that they can think of.

The purpose of this activity was to stimulate creative thinking among the teachers and encourage them to explore innovative approaches to storytelling, thereby enhancing their instructional skills and fostering a more engaging learning environment for students.

In conclusion, the workshop provided a comprehensive platform for teachers to refine their pedagogical skills and foster an enriched learning experience for their students.
