The commemoration of Teacher's Day at G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurgaon on September 05, 2024, was a grand affair filled with zeal and excitement. The long-standing tradition of the Teacher's Day Assembly, orchestrated by the seniors of class XII, was resurrected after a significant hiatus. Embracing the theme of "Bollywood of the 90s," the students ingeniously portrayed the school's ethos and principles through a captivating blend of music, theatrical performances, and quizzes.

Drawing inspiration from iconic films like "Sholay," the students skillfully mimicked legendary actors of the bygone era, adorned in the fashionable trends of the time, infusing the presentation with elements of humor, satire, and action. The assembly was interspersed with engaging quizzes and activities designed for the esteemed teachers, who graciously and enthusiastically participated.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Mrs. Anuradha Handa and Senior Wing Headmistress Ms. Shikha Sharma.  Principal Mrs. Anuradha Handa commended the students for their dedication and creativity, while Headmistress Ms. Shikha Sharma lauded their ability to craft such a remarkable presentation in a brief timeframe. The assembly concluded leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. The Assembly set a standard of excellence for the underclassmen to emulate.
