SPECIAL ASSEMBLY - INDEPENDENCE DAY

The students of Nursery and Class II in the GDGPS Junior Wing conducted a delightful assembly on August 14, 2024 in the school auditorium, to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day. The assembly was a vibrant celebration of the nation’s history and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
The young students, dressed in tricolor attire, shared inspiring stories about the lives and contributions of various freedom fighters who played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for independence. Their heartfelt narrations filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of patriotism and respect for our national heroes.
The assembly also featured lively patriotic dances, where the children showcased their enthusiasm and love for the country through graceful movements and vibrant music. Their performances were met with applause and admiration from the audience.
The event was graced by the presence of the School Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Handa, who addressed the children with encouraging words. She emphasized the importance of remembering our nation's history and the values of unity, freedom, and responsibility. Ma’am’s address was both inspiring and motivating for the young minds.
The Independence Day assembly was a memorable event that not only celebrated India’s freedom but also instilled a sense of national pride and responsibility among the young students.
