SESSION - SAHAS ZERO WASTE

"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it".
If many little people in many little places do many little things. They can change the face of the Earth. With the same objective to achieve, ‘Sahas Zero waste’ has brought together nature, people and technology to manage holistically through resource recovery and a circular economy.
G D Goenka Public School Sector-48, Gurugram collaborated with the organisation and conducted an insightful session to create awareness about the Zero waste.
Ms Varsha Pahwa, Business Development Manager of the enterprise apprised the students about various ways to segregate waste. The interactive session gave an opportunity to the students to get answers to their queries. The students who actively participated in the campaign last year were acknowledged for their efforts. They received badges, posters and Amazon vouchers for their commendable work.
The Principal Mrs Anuradha Handa and Headmistress Ms Shalini Tandon felicitated the students for their amazing contribution and sincere efforts towards the environment. The session concluded with a thought-provoking message that we need to save earth by reusing, recycling waste. Waste isn’t waste until we waste.
