SCIENCE WORKSHOP- EXPLORICA

Ms. Nidhi Rai and Ms. Urvashi have conducted a Live interactive session attended by all the teachers of G D Goenka Schools Pan India on July 19, 2024. Around 100 teachers attended the session.. From our school Science teachers of middle and senior wing attended this session.

Ms. Nidhi Roy and Ms.Urvashi talked about the importance of lesson planning, learning objectives and developing scientific temperament in the students. Ms. Urvashi focussed mainly on Physics teaching in secondary classes. The interactive session focussed on following topics:

• Learning and unlearning pedagogical processes.
• Experiential learning by conducting experiments in class.
• Inculcating hands-on activities by students in groups.
• Productive discussion happened about the conduction of classes.
• Engaging interactions to make the sessions more lively and informative for the students.

The session ended with an interactive Q & A round. Overall, the session was very enlightening and informative.
