PUPPETRY WORKSHOP
(JULY 22, 2024)
We're thrilled to announce our recent puppetry workshop for the students of middle wing at GDGPS Sec 48, led by the talented Mr. Mahesh Kumar. This is an exciting initiative by Hindustan Times for organising these specialized workshops, that aims at teaching school students the required creative expression and effective communication. This engaging session empowered students to explore creative expression and hone their communication skills. Through storytelling with puppets, our young Goenkans discovered new ways to articulate their ideas and build confidence.
By participating in these workshops, students not only enhance their academic abilities but also gain the confidence to express their ideas and thoughts clearly and compellingly.
Mr. Mahesh Kumar performs puppet shows, in two forms: traditional and modern. He is specialized in modern puppetry, which is done with fingers. He has been doing this for the last 8 years in Nepal, Sri Lanka and India. These shows involve storytelling using puppets, through which children are taught many things about animals and other living beings o the planet Earth.
