ORIENTATION SESSION CLASS XI; 2024-25

An Orientation Session was held for the Goenkan parents and student fraternity, transitioning into class XI from class X, on 23rd March, 2024. The audience was addressed by the Principal, with the main objective of hand holding the targeted audience into this transformative journey and to give an overview of the senior secondary years as the students get ready to expand their cognitive capacity to take the next step forward. The focus of the program was to well prepare the parent-student fraternity for a smooth transition from the school to the university.
Alumni of the school were present to give the audience an insight into the nuances of this transitional journey, their own experiences of it and to abreast their juniors on the tips to make this stepping forward meaningful and productive. This connection, based on success stories of the alumni, gave a comprehensive view of the essential profile building opportunities and importance of platforms like IDM and Competency Building Program. The Subject Expert Session gave the audience a deeper knowledge of the academic stream based milestones and curriculum mapping based on the three academic streams being offered in class XI along with the requirements of the CBSE for the same. The Headmistress of the senior wing reiterated upon the Goenkan protocols and shared the details of the shift in the communication platform from ERP to NLP. This session was well received by the stakeholders.
