ONLINE ACCOUNTANCY WORKSHOP

An online webinar for Class XII Accountancy was held on 16 July 2024 by Rachna Sagar. The resource person was Dr. Vikas Vijay who gave an insightful knowledge about the content and various methodologies of teaching Accountancy and guided the teachers on making the subject more interesting and relatable. 

The session was started with the division of the teachers into four broad categories based on their skills and commitments. Post a brief discussion about the syllabus and techniques of time management, he also discussed the high-priority topics for board exams that would help the students of class XII to score well in the subject. He also guided the teachers on the pedagogical techniques that are appropriate for various levels of questions. The resource person also explained how the difference in use of words in questions affects the accounting treatment. Overall the workshop was very informative and beneficial for the Accountancy teachers. At the end of the session, a general doubt clearing session of teachers was taken by the resource person, which helped seal the information discussed during the workshop.
