EMPOWERING EDUCATORS: TEACHING OF ECONOMICS

A virtual Economics Workshop for Teachers on "Empowering Educators: Teaching of Economics" was organised by G D Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj by resource persons Ms Vani Arora, Ms Rachna Gupta on September 13, 2024.

The objective of the workshop was to empower educators teaching Economics to Grade 9-12 CBSE students with effective pedagogies and innovative strategies. The workshop aimed to enhance teaching methodologies, promote critical thinking, and foster engaging learning experiences.

Expert resource persons delivered insightful presentations on contemporary teaching approaches.

Interactive sessions focused on real-world applications and case studies, project-based learning and group discussions, technology integration and digital resources and Differentiated instruction and assessment techniques.

All the attendees were benefitted with the workshop with enhanced understanding of CBSE Economics curriculum and pedagogy, improved teaching strategies to promote student engagement and critical thinking and networking opportunities among educators.
