DAY EXCURSION TO ECO ADVENTURE CAMP; CLASSES NUR TO II

School trips and field excursions are an essential part of school life. They not only provide students with an opportunity to construct knowledge on the basis of their firsthand experience, but also help in the overall development of their personalities. They learn to observe, gather information on their own, explore the site, ask questions and above all help each other. Keeping this in mind, G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram organized a day excursion to Eco Adventure Camp for the students of Classes NUR to II on March 15, 2024.

Students enjoyed the adventure camp as they got a chance to do something exciting and adventurous. They were divided into groups where trained instructors guided them through a series of thrilling activities like Zip lining, Wall Climbing, Balance Beam, Tunnel Crossing and many more. They participated in all the activities with full enthusiasm.

They also experienced the camel cart, bullock cart and tractor rides. They all very much enjoyed the scrumptious meal offered to them. The fun filled day came to an end with the children grooving to the tunes of some lively dance numbers. Amidst the tranquility and the lush green ambience of the farm, the students got a glimpse of rural life.

They enjoyed each and every aspect of the trip thoroughly as it was a wonderful learning experience for them. They were trained in some of the most important 21st century skills like team building, leadership, communication, problem solving, adaptability, trust etc. They carried back home wonderful memories to cherish and also look forward to more such trips in future.
