ASSEMBLY- HAPPINESS SPRINGS FROM HELPING

“Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others”

In our fast-paced world, filled with individual pursuits and personal ambitions, we often overlook the simple yet powerful act of helping others. To explore how acts of kindness and service not only uplift those we help, but also bring immense joy and fulfilment to our own lives. With this thought the students of class III-A presented a mesmerizing assembly on the topic – ‘Happiness Springs by Helping Others.’

To start the day with the blessings from the almighty, the assembly began with a beautiful prayer. The students shared an inspirational thought related to the topic. The Goenkan reporters updated everyone in a creative way about the latest happenings around the world and in GDGPS through their news channel – ‘GOENKAN TV LIVE.’ The presenters had invited a special guest Mr. Happy who enlightened the audience about how to find inner happiness by doing simple acts of kindness.

The assembly presentation started with an understanding of the importance of being happy and its impact on our lives. The presenters explained to the audience about the same through an interactive enactment. Not only this, the presenters were excited and elated to share an acrostic poem on the topic – HAPPINESS.

The students of Grade III A gave a beautiful dance presentation on the song “Happiness is Everywhere – Shiny Smiles Light up the World.” The assembly was fuelled with the enthusiasm of students as they sang and danced to the tunes of foot-tapping songs, which made the audience sway to the music.

The assembly was well concluded with the school anthem sung with great pride and fulfilment.

To further enlighten us, our headmistress Shalini Ma’am addressed the assembly by inspiring all to keep working towards helping others, being kind and spreading happiness. The assembly instilled optimism and awareness. It left us with the thought that every action, no matter how small, makes a big difference.
