ASSEMBLY -CIVIC SENSE

(JULY 16, 2024)

On July 16, 2024, students of KG E conducted a vibrant and insightful assembly focusing on the theme civic sense. The assembly aimed to instill a deeper understanding of civic responsibility and the importance of good manners and behavior in public spaces among young learners. Young Goenkans of KG E focused on reaffirmation of the importance of practicing good social habits. Students were encouraged to apply the values learned during the assembly in their daily lives to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to their communities. Through An interesting PPT, children learnt practical ways to exhibit civic sense in their school, neighborhood, and beyond. The PPT showcased behaviors such as respecting traffic rules, keeping public places clean, and showing consideration for others. Issues like littering and misuse of public property were highlighted through engaging clip arts.

This assembly not only enriched our students' understanding but also reinforced our commitment to nurturing responsible individuals who respect and value their surroundings. Before concluding the assembly with the National Anthem, Headmistress Ms. Harmeet Kaur addressed the students. She emphasized the importance of incorporating civic sense into daily life and encouraged everyone to apply the values learned during the assembly in their daily lives to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to their communities.
