“There is inside you, all of the potential to be whatever you want to be, all of the energy to do whatever you want to do.”

To emphasize on the importance of self belief and building confidence the students of class IV B presented the assembly on the topic, “Building Confidence to Overcome Obstacles” to the students of class III and IV.

The assembly commenced with the prayers and shared inspirational thought related to the topic. The Goenkan reporters updated everyone in a very creative way about the latest happenings around the world and in GDGPS through their newschannel “GOENKAN’S NEWS REPORTERS”.

The assembly unfolded with a role play where students narrated a story highlighting the importance of facing the challenges by looking at it with a positive mindset. The assembly was fueled with enthusiasm of students as they sang and danced to the tunes of foot tapping songs which made the audience sway to the music. The audience enthusiastically took part in the quiz - Kaun Banega Goenkan Superstar and showcased their understanding of the topic by participating actively.They concluded the assembly with a heartfelt quote saying the word ‘IMPOSSIBLE’ say ‘I’M POSSIBLE’ which left a big impact on the audience and ignited the feeling self confidence amongst all.

To conclude the assembly Headmistress Ms. Shalini Tandon, an epitome of motivation and encouragement, was invited to enlighten the students with her words saying how one should have faith in themselves and face all difficulties with ease. She appreciated the efforts and the confidence put in by all the students who performed, the compere and the students who helped backstage.

The Goenkans presented the school anthem with great fervor at the end.
