ASSEMBLY-BE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD

(DECEMBER 09, 2024)

"The best way to predict the future is to create it." — Abraham Lincoln

On 9th December 2024, Class VII B presented an inspiring assembly on the theme "Be the change you wish to see in the world." The assembly began with a heartfelt poem on kindness, encouraging everyone to spread positivity and make the world a better place.

After the welcome address, the students shared a prayer, asking for blessings and gratitude. The "News World" team updated everyone on national, international news, sports, and the weather, keeping the school connected to the outside world. The Thought of the Day was presented in English, Hindi, and French, reinforcing the message that small acts of change can transform the world. This was followed by a skit illustrating how people often fail to act on their own advice, emphasizing the importance of taking personal responsibility for change.

The assembly also highlighted the inspiring lives of change-makers like Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and Malala Yousafzai, who led by example in the fight for justice, equality, and education. Their courage reminded us all that we have the power to create change by living our values.

The event concluded with a rhythmic Tabla performance, energizing the audience with cultural pride, and a motivating speech from the Headmistress, who urged students to take responsibility and be proactive in making a difference.

The assembly ended with the School Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to become the change they wish to see in the world. The assembly was a powerful reminder that each one of us has the potential to create a better world through our actions, and by embodying kindness, responsibility, and courage, we can bring about meaningful change.
