ASSEMBLY- HAPPINESS CAN ONLY EXIST IN ACCEPTANCE

(DECEMBER 04, 2024)

Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.

On December 04, 2024, the students of Class VII G presented an insightful assembly on the theme ‘Happiness can only exist in acceptance’. The assembly aimed to help students understand that true happiness lies in accepting life as it is, rather than constantly striving for perfection.

The assembly began with a beautiful prayer by the school choir, followed by inspiring thoughts in English, Hindi, French, and Sanskrit, which set a reflective tone for the session. The Goenkan news team then shared updates on current events, keeping everyone informed and engaged.

A heartwarming poem, ‘Happiness is Free’, reminded the audience that happiness cannot be bought or chased but is found in accepting what we have. This was further emphasized through a skit, where villagers, dissatisfied with their lives, learned the value of acceptance through the wisdom of an old woman. The skit beautifully illustrated how embracing life’s challenges leads to peace and contentment.

The students were encouraged to cultivate mindfulness and acceptance in their daily lives. The assembly ended on a high note with the school anthem, uniting everyone in a spirit of joy and acceptance.
