ASSEMBLY- ECO FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOUR

"Nature is not just an outside source. It’s your own life. How you treat your environment is how you treat yourself."

With this thought, the students of class VI G of G D Goenka Public School Sector 48, Gurugram presented a powerful and thought-provoking dramatization on the theme- ‘Eco Friendly and Sustainable Behaviour’ on December 09, 2024.

The assembly began with the lightning of the lamp by our Headmistress Ms.Shalini Tandon. She highlighted the need of adopting eco -friendly and sustainable behaviour. Students shared the positive affirmations in English, Hindi, Sanskrit and French to instill the importance of our environment. Thereafter, the creative Goenkan reporters presented the news and updated everyone about the latest happenings in and around the world.

The students highlighted the importance in safeguarding our environment. The performance involved three impactful scenes, creatively delivered by students through the voices of aquatic creatures, trees, and natural elements. A quiz based on the theme was conducted by the students very well.

The performance was highly engaging, incorporating humour, wit, and emotion to drive home the critical need for sustainability. The students’ expressions, delivery, and passion resonated deeply with the audience, leaving both students and teachers inspired to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. The assembly successfully raised awareness about the challenges of pollution, deforestation and climate change, reinforcing the idea that small actions today can lead to a brighter and cleaner tomorrow.
