The Annual IC3 Conference & Expo, organized by the International College & Career Counseling movement, aims to provide essential career counseling to students worldwide. Held on 28th and 29th August 2024 at Yashobhoomi, this year's theme "Competition to Competence" set the stage for empowering students with the skills they need to succeed. As a proud host school, our institution actively participated in this prestigious event, showcasing an Art Exhibition under the captivating theme of Convergence to Divergence.
The theme of this year's IC3 Conference, "Competition to Competence," brilliantly encapsulates the paradigm shift in modern education. While competition has long been considered the driving force behind success, the focus is now shifting towards cultivating competencies that enable students to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
Our school, one of the proud hosts of the IC3 Conference, organized an enthralling Art Exhibition during the expo. With the theme "Convergence to Divergence," the exhibition aimed to showcase the diversity of artistic expression and its potential to drive innovation. Students' exceptional artworks portrayed how different ideas and perspectives can converge to create something unique and subsequently diverge to foster individuality and creativity. The exhibition was a testament to our school's commitment to holistic education, highlighting the significance of the arts in nurturing well-rounded individuals.
A significant highlight of the IC3 Conference was the Prent Student Expo, where selected students from our school had the opportunity to interact with college representatives, explore potential higher education options, and gather valuable information about different career pathways.The IC3 Conference & Expo offered a wide range of breakout sessions covering various theme areas, ensuring attendees gained extensive knowledge and insights into career counseling best practices. Our school was represented by seven enthusiastic delegates who actively participated in networking sessions and attended significant breakout sessions related to high school-university partnerships, pre-entrepreneurship engagements, and more. These sessions allowed our representatives to engage with experts in their respective fields, contributing to their professional development and expanding their network of invaluable connections.
The annual IC3 Conference & Expo continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the education landscape by emphasizing the importance of career counseling and providing substantial resources to students. With this year's theme, "Competition to Competence," the conference successfully addressed the evolving needs of students in the modern world. Our school's active participation, including hosting the Art Exhibition and attending breakout sessions, further exemplified our commitment to fostering well-rounded, competent students ready to conquer future challenges.
