ACCOUNTANCY WORKSHOP - G S GREWAL

An Accountancy workshop was organized for Accountancy Teachers by Sultan Chand Publication on 27th July 2024. The workshop was headed by two renowned resource persons, Mr. G.S. Grewal and Mr. R.K. Khosla, who are authors of T.S. Grewal’s Accountancy book. The main objective of this workshop was to provide insights, tools, and strategies to make the classroom teaching more effective and to discuss the competency-based questions for Class XII. This session, initiated by Mr. G.S. Grewal, spanned over two hours and covered all the topics in order to exercise the conversion of simple questions into competency-based questions. He focused on catching the keywords of questions and solving them in minimal time. 

He emphasized on giving attention to the common mistakes in XII Accountancy paper and ways to overcome them, clarifications related to competency-based questions, tips on scoring 100% marks in the Board examination and the heads and subheads of a balance sheet. The other part of the workshop was taken by Mr. R. K. Khosla, who initiated the session with basic chapters of class XI and moved to chapters of Class XII. It was an interactive session with hands-on activities that allowed teachers to learn and apply their knowledge practically. The session ended with a Q&A session. This workshop served as an excellent platform for teachers to develop their skills and enhance their teaching methodologies in the subject of Accountancy.
