WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL COUNSELLOR

(JUNE 4 & JUNE 5, 2019)

ICTRC organized a series of 5 day training programs in the field of Guidance and Counseling for School teachers from  June 01, 2019 to June 05,2019 at Indian Social Institute, Lodi Road ,New Delhi .The panel of experts was headed by Dr V S Ravindran, DG, ICTRC.

The day

The day  & 5 sessions were attended by the school counselor- Ms. Manisha Dahiya. Session on Day 4 was on learning problems namely specific learning disorders which impact the academic performance of students in Schools. It gave insight into the various types of learning disorders, evident signs, and remedial measures to address the issues.

Session on Day 5 was on behavioral problems present in School scenario. It separated behavioral problems due to Attention disorders, oppositional disorders from other commonly occurring behavioral problems. It also detailed etiology, signs and remedial steps which can lead to effective management of behavioral concerns in academic setting institutions. The session was highly interactive as all queries were answered patiently and effectively by Dr. Ravindran.
