WEBINAR – INTEGRATION OF ARTS IN ECONOMICS

CBSE organised a Webinar on Integration of Arts in Economics on August 28, 2020 on Google meet platform. The resource person was Mr. Ajay Mishra.

The session started with highlighting the importance of Art in different subjects stating that art integration helps the students to apply critical thinking and enhances creativity for a deeper understanding of concepts and topics.The major emphasis of the session was to understand and create ways of experiential learning through various ways to make the teaching learning process effective in Economics for the students.

The resource person shared some Art forms and connected those arts with various chapters of Economics like Poverty, Unemployment, LPG etc. for showcasing the ways in which it can be taught in the classroom. At the end there was Q&A session whereby teachers asked their queries related to Art integration and was solved by Mr. Ajay Mishra beautifully.

Overall it was very interesting and informative session to integrate art in Economics and make the subject more interesting for the students.
