VIRTUAL MASTERCLASS SERIES
(JUNE 15-23, 2020)
To ensure professional development of school leaders and enable smooth transition to online teaching, CBSE in association with Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) organised “Virtual Masterclass Series” from 15th to 23rd June 2020 onwards. Six masterclasses were scheduled specifically for CBSE Schools. This was an opportunity for school leaders to learn from Australian academics gaining the latest industry knowledge. The six classes of 1.5 r each focused on the following topics.
- The Future of Space - Turning Science Fiction into Reality in the Classroom
- Leading Digital Learning
- Transformative career and life lessons from the pandemic - through the lens of economics
- Do Goldfish really have a longer attention span than students of today?
- Digital and Social Media Strategies for Schools
- Iterating Workplace Practices Post the Covid-19 Crisis
Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa, Ms. Salini Tandon, headmistress middle wing, Ms. Srishti Bajaj, headmistress junior wing, Ms Ritesh Sharma, academic coordinator and Ms. Sarika Singh, Coordinator, senior wing attended the classes. The eminent speakers discussed various topics in details and shared videos and other resources with the audience. Each session ended with Q and A round wherein participation asked related questions which were answered by the speaker. The five days if the masterclass was an enriching experience and it touched upon many relevant aspects related to education in the current scenario.
