SESSIONS ATTENDED BY SCHOOL LIBRARIAN

(JULY 2020)

P N Panicker Foundation in collaboration with NITI Aayog, Ministry of Human Resource Development, National Digital Library of India, Govt. of Kerala and P N Panicker Vigyan Vikas Kendra organized a series of webinars in the month of July 2020 on various topics for Librarians. Ms. Neeraj Sharma, Librarian G D Goenka Public School Sector 48  represented our school.

Topics of the webinars were –

• Importance of Reading for Nation's Children during Pandemic. Resource person - Dr. Geeta Malhotra, Country Director, Road India, New Delhi
• Preservation of Manuscripts and Books Post COVID-19.  Resource Person - Dr. P Perumal State Coordinator - Tamil Nadu Manuscripts Mission. De P Perumal suggested many ways how we can protect books by using home remedies and what will be SOP for libraries post COVID 19.
• Creation of Learning material in National Digital Library. Resource person - Prof. Partha Pratim Chakraborty. Prof Partha discussed about origin and development of National digital library and how we can use NDLI for home based learning .

NDLI also launched a new tab of CBSE Exam preparatory for Class X and Class XII. All the sessions were very informative and enriching.
