SEMINAR – POSH (DECEMBER 07, 2019)

A seminar on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) program especially aimed at sensitizing Internal Committee Members, HR heads, Administrative Heads and Staff, School Counselors, contractual staff, support staff and blue-collar staff and their supervisors/contractors and was organised by School of Life Foundation held at DPS Sector 45, Gurugram. School of Life Foundation, India is a not -for-profit working actively to promote sexual safety of children and women. The organisation strive to create a world free of sexual abuse.

Mr. Ashuman Gera and Mr. Mrityunjay representing our school, attended the seminar. The seminar covered the following aspects:

• Sensitization on what constitutes harassment vs sexual harassment.
• Understanding the Gender, Media and Social stereotypes that propagate sexual harassment in our culture.
• Sensitization on the Sexual Harassment Act. Redressal mechanism and repercussions on false reporting.
• Role/responsibilities/ rights of an employee even as a third party/ contractual employee.
• The program included case studies and videos relevant to the group.

The main objective behind the seminar was to Stay informed & Stay knowledgeable.
