POLITICAL SCIENCE WORKSHOP

A workshop was organised by COE East Delhi for PGT Political Science covering Teaching Strategies/ Methodologies of Political Science on August 25, 2020. The resorce person was Ms. Neera Kohli from CBSE.

The workshop started with discussion of seven different methodologies which can be used in classroom for eg Active Lecture method, Problem solving method etc. The resource person cited real life example from the surrounding. She emphasized on student interaction and teacher as facilitator,  interdisciplinary practice while teaching chapters of Political Science, usage of newspaper in every day classroom as learning tool and increasing skill like deduction &problem solving.

Usage of Blooms taxonomy in making paper from CBSE point of view was discussed.
