FUN DAY FOR TEACHERS AT GDGPS, SEC

Never underestimate the importance of having fun!

No one shall underestimate the importance of learning while having fun. Team-building and strengthening the teachers’ social-emotional needs increases teacher efficiency and builds a strong school culture and GDGPS, Sec 48 leaves no stone unturned to nurture this belief.

The Junior Wing of the school witnessed teachers reliving their childhood on April 6, 2019 on a specially designed ‘Fun Day’ at school for the teachers. The team of teachers was divided into three groups, taking turns to try their hand at different activities such as interactive theatre, dance alley and creative art to stimulate communication in order to foster working relationships among educators. The activities helped teachers to collaborate, enhance their problem solving capabilities and laugh together. Not to forget, each one got an opportunity to learn a new art.  

Teachers were excited to start the year as a cohesive team to ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning in our young Goenkans as they begin a fresh journey with us in the academic session of 2019-20.
