CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP-ASSESSMENT IN PHYSICS

A Capacity Building Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sanjay Yadav (COE Dehradun)- ‘Assessment in Physics’ on August 18,2020 from 4:00 -5:00 pm on virtual platform. Around 100 Physics teachers all over India attended the workshop.

The workshop mainly covered the following points:

Role of Assessment, What to assess in Physics,Digital Bloom’s Taxonomy, How to assess, Why to assess, Importance of Feedback, Some Online Assessment Tools .

He also emphasized on the importance of understanding the problem why the child is not performing well in assessments and deal with the situation accordingly.

The session was followed by Q& A.
